Work Background
This project involved a complete reroofing of an existing structure last year, combining a classic profile with new, essential components for superior longevity and performance.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:
- Profile: Grey Friars Corrugate was chosen, providing the enduring, classic New Zealand look with a modern, popular colour choice.
- Pitch: A striking 40-degree pitch was maintained, enhancing the building's architectural lines and ensuring excellent water runoff.
- Structural Upgrade: New purlins (horizontal roof supports) were installed to ensure the roof structure was completely sound and straight before the sheeting began.
- Natural Light: Several clearlights (translucent panels) were integrated into the roof, ensuring the interior space receives ample natural light.
The result is a secure, structurally refreshed roof that retains a traditional aesthetic while featuring modern, high-performance materials.
