Work Background
This project involved a significant upgrade for Parnell School, replacing their aged and heavy roofing system with a modern, lightweight, and durable alternative.
Project Highlights:
- Original Material: Old, heavy concrete tiles, which often require extensive structural support and can deteriorate over time.
- New Material: Gerard Pressed Metal Tiles were installed. This product provides the traditional look of classic roof tiles but with the strength, durability, and low weight of steel.
- Work Carried Out: Johnson Brothers Roofing managed the complete reroof, including the safe and efficient removal of the old concrete tiles and the installation of the new Gerard Tile system.
- Benefit: The new pressed metal roof provides superior weather resistance and durability, significantly reduces the load on the school building's structure, and delivers a clean, high-performance aesthetic that will last for decades.
